Waikiki Beach

The most famous beach in the Pacific — a 2-mile strand fronting Honolulu's hotel district, the gentle reef-protected break that learners ride, and Diamond Head looming at the east end. Crowded year-round, warm year-round, and the historical heart of surf culture (Duke Kahanamoku's statue is at the centerpoint).
