Ogunquit Beach

Beach St, Ogunquit, ME 03907

A 3.5-mile sand barrier between the Ogunquit River and the Atlantic, reached via a wooden footbridge from the town center. The name means "beautiful place by the sea" in Abenaki — the village earned it. Less rowdy than Old Orchard, more polished than York; the Maine beach to go to if you want classic Atlantic surf with a walkable arts town behind you.

Ideal for a beach walk.
