A 48-acre state park beach at the mouth of the Grand River — wide Lake Michigan sand, the iconic red Grand Haven South Pier Lighthouse at the end of the breakwater, and the Grand Haven Musical Fountain at the harbor (a nightly summer water-and-light show, world's largest of its kind from 1962 until the Bellagio opened in 1998). Walk the pier to the lighthouse at sunset.
